Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the Leafturn app and your purchases of printed books through it. By using the app or placing an order, you agree to them. Questions to hello@leafturn.app.
Your content
Your photos are yours. You give us permission to use the photos you include in an order solely to produce, deliver, and where necessary reprint your book — nothing else. You're responsible for having the right to print the photos you include.
Orders and printing
Every book is printed to order, just for you. Prices, including printing and delivery, are shown in the app before you pay. Payment is taken when you place the order, processed by Stripe.
Because your book goes to print shortly after you order, it can be cancelled only before printing starts — email hello@leafturn.app as soon as possible. Once printing has started, the order can't be changed or cancelled, and as a product made to your specification it is exempt from the usual change-of-mind cancellation rights.
If something goes wrong
If your book arrives damaged, misprinted, or not as described, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll reprint it or refund you. This doesn't affect your statutory rights. We aren't responsible for the content of the photos you chose, or for quality limitations inherent in the originals (such as low-resolution photos, which the app warns you about).
Delivery
Estimated printing and delivery times are shown in the app and are estimates, not guarantees. We deliver to the countries listed at checkout. Make sure your delivery address is correct — we can't redirect an order once it has been dispatched.
Your account
Accounts are optional and passwordless; keep access to your email address secure, since anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't use Leafturn to print material that is unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights. We may decline or cancel (and refund) an order that we're not able to print, or that our print partner refuses.
The service
We work hard to keep Leafturn available and your books beautiful, but the app and service are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Changes apply to orders placed after they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and disputes can be brought before the Scottish courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any protections your local consumer law gives you that cannot be excluded by agreement, and you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
